Now we have made 40 pies this year and there are still so many people out there interested and eager for a taste of the Perdue Vision Jack Daniels Honey Pecan Pies. Ever since we have posted this holiday bake-athon, we find more and more people worthy of these great pies! WE do not want to deny anyone this amazing holiday treat. SO, I have decided that for this week we would offer these pies for sale so every one has a shot at their impeccable and epic taste!

If you would like to have one, email, call or hit us up on Facebook and put your order in! We can take credit cards over the phone or a check/cash in person. $25 will get you a home made, fresh Perdue Vision Jack Daniels Honey Pecan Pie.  Or if you would like to make this pie yourself, I have attached a video for you to watch and the written directions in case you want to skip the video! Honestly though, we buy all the ingredients in bulk so you will be paying about the same price to make one as you would be to buy one. However, you may just want your home to smell awesome like ours does. Honesty its ridiculous how good this house smells right now.

Prep Time: 5 minutes
Bake Time: 60 to 70 minutes
Chill Time: (cool time) 2 hours
Yield: 8 servings

1 cup Karo® Light OR Dark Corn Syrup
3 eggs
1 cup sugar
2 tablespoons butter, melted
1 teaspoon Spice Islands® Pure Vanilla Extract
1-1/2 cups (6 ounces) pecans
1 (9-inch) unbaked or frozen** deep-dish pie crust
1/3 cup J.D. Honey Whiskey

Preheat oven to 350°F.
Mix corn syrup, eggs, sugar, butter and vanilla using a spoon. Stir in pecans. Pour filling into pie crust.
Bake on center rack of oven for 60 to 70 minutes (see tips for doneness, below). Cool for 2 hours on wire rack before serving.
**To use prepared frozen pie crust: Place cookie sheet in oven and preheat oven as directed. Pour filling into frozen crust and bake on preheated cookie sheet.
RECIPE TIPS: Pie is done when center reaches 200°F. Tap center surface of pie lightly – it should spring back when done. For easy clean up, spray pie pan with cooking spray before placing pie crust in pan. If pie crust is overbrowning, cover edges with foil.
High Altitude Adjustments: Reduce sugar to 2/3 cup and increase butter to 3 tablespoons. Reduce oven temperature to 325°F.
VARIATION: coarsely chopped walnuts may be substituted for pecans to make a walnut pie.
